We recently held our 4th Annual Champions Luncheon on April 26, 2019, honoring Gold Medal of Service Award Recipient Kyrsten Sinema, Community Champion Recipients Robert Sarver, US Congressman Greg Stanton, and Senator Jamecita Peshlakai, and the 2019 Sara Marriot Legacy Award Recipient Mary Jo Whitfield as Champions in the behavioral health field. Emcee Cary Peña, Honorary Chair Mi-Ai Parrish, and each honoree shared powerful stories of resilience in their own lives. With over 325 people in attendance, the theme of resilience was woven throughout the entire event and our new brand Resilient Health was unveiled at the event.
This event is a key fundraiser of the company to support the array of services we provide throughout Arizona, including verbal and non-verbal therapies/counseling for mental health and substance use disorders, wellness classes, therapeutic arts and art therapy through our Art Awakenings service, psychiatric, housing, respite, early intervention (first episode psychosis), primary care and medication management.
